PhoneGap Desktop : import exist ionic Project and Getting start develop

PhoneGap Desktop : import exist ionic Project and Getting start develop

Test On:
- Mac OS X El Capitan
- PhoneGap Desktop 0.1.11
- ionic 1.7.7
- iPhone 4 iOS 7.1.2

[install ionic and create project]
1. Open terminal and type "sudo npm install -g cordova ionic" and type your mac password then press "return".

2. Create sample project by type "ionic start sampleApp sidemenu" and press "return", eg. you can create with blank project by this: http://ionicframework.com/getting-started/

3. Open your sampleApp folder and open "config.xml" file with text editor then add icon src, then save file.

4. Place icon png size 128x128 inside folder "www" as same name in "config.xml" file.

[install phonegap desktop]
1. Download latest version on github https://github.com/phonegap/phonegap-app-desktop/tree/master/installers/osx

2. Install on your mac, accept license agreement by click "Agree"

3. Drag icon "PhoneGap.app" to your "Applications" icon and release.

4. Launch PhoneGap from your "Launchpad", if new version available you should see notice "Update Available" as below image.

if no new version available, you should see like below image.

[import ionic project]
1. Click on "+" icon and choose "Open existing PhoneGap project..." eg. but we choose ionic project.

2. Browse to your ionic project folder and "Select".

3. Your ionic project will import to PhoneGap Desktop app as below image. server ip is "172.20.10.2:3000"

[test on iOS device]

*sample via "USB", with "3G" and "Personal Hotspot" through "DTAC" mobile internet provider 

1. Connect internet via WIFI, 3G or 4G, open AppStore search "phonegap developer"

2. Open "PhoneGap Developer" app.

3. PhoneGap app will standby. Tap on ip address and change to be same as "PhoneGap Desktop" for this sample is "172.20.10.2:3000"

4. Tap on "Connect", just waiting on downloading.

5. After download completed, it's change step to "extracting...".

6. After extracted, it's show "success!".

7. Your ionic project will launch on device.

*ps. [iOS error downloading]
If you have got this error like below.
1. Make sure your PhoneGap Desktop and PhoneGap Developer is update to latest version.
2. Make sure your internet connection no problem.
3. Make sure your ip address on PhoneGap Developer is same as PhoneGap Desktop.
